This project highlights the initiatives by the locals to make their neighbourhoods safer from day to day disasters.

SEEDS, in partnership with UNICEF, have been implementing a unique project contributing to strengthening resilience of citizens in selected low-income pockets of East Delhi. A vibrant citizens’ forum is now in place. It has built a constructive engagement with the Government of Delhi and there is a visible improvement in the neighborhoods that were represented by the forum. Vibrant groups of children and youth have ensured their agenda remains centre-stage in the resilience agenda.
